Doriane Pin secured the 2025 F1 ACADEMY championship after finishing fifth in the season finale in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Chloe Chambers wrapped up her campaign with a dominant win over Alisha Palmowski and title contender Maya Weug.
Chambers, racing on home soil, controlled Race 2 from start to finish. She converted her pole position into her second victory of the season and ended her two years in F1 ACADEMY on a high note.
Although Pin missed the podium, her fifth-place finish was enough to stay ahead of Weug in the standings. As a result, she claimed the championship under the bright lights of the Las Vegas street circuit.
The race began cleanly, and the top five held their positions through the opening laps despite several attempts to overtake. However, the momentum shifted when Joanne Ciconte and Wild Card driver Payton Westcott collided. Their cars stopped on track, which brought out the Safety Car.
During the restart, Chambers managed the field perfectly. In contrast, Alba Larsen lost ground to both Pin and Weug and slipped to fifth. The Ferrari driver quickly responded, though. She passed her title rival around the outside to take third and then prepared an attack on Red Bull Racing’s Palmowski. Although Weug briefly moved ahead, Palmowski struck back and protected second place.
Their fight opened the door for Pin and Larsen to join the action. Larsen eventually overtook Pin for fourth in the closing laps. Behind them, McLaren’s Ella Lloyd finished sixth, followed by Nina Gademan and Tina Hausmann. Rafaela Ferreira and Aurelia Nobels claimed the final points of the season.
