HBO has confirmed that Season 3 of House of the Dragon will premiere on June 21 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Max. The season includes eight episodes, with new episodes arriving weekly until the finale on August 9.
HBO also released a new teaser trailer that previews more battles, dragons, and political conflict. The trailer highlights the growing tension within House Targaryen and promises another dramatic chapter in the story.

The series adapts Fire & Blood by George R. R. Martin. The story takes place nearly 200 years before Game of Thrones and focuses on the Targaryen civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons.
Season 3 brings back several major cast members, including Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, and Rhys Ifans. Ryan Condal created the series with Martin and continues to serve as showrunner.
Warner Bros. and HBO continue to expand the “Game of Thrones” universe. The studios are producing Season 2 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms after the strong response to its first season. Warner Bros. is also developing a prequel film about Aegon’s Conquest.
